Where is it?

It's at The RAF Museum Cosford,Shrophire. The museum is situated less than one mile from junction 3 of the M54,full directions are here.

What's it all about?

TDCIR is the annual rally and concours of the Triumph Dolomite Club.
TDCIR will see the largest gathering of Dolomites,Toledos, front wheel drive cars and Dolomite-based kit cars in the UK this year.Owners of other Triumph models and all Triumph clubs are also invited to attend.
There'll be traders and autojumble stands so you'll be able to search for those all important spare parts to help keep your car on the road. You'll be able to meet hundreds of other Triumph fans and maybe find the answers to all those technical questions you've been meaning to ask.

UPDATE (15/9/03):There'll be a range of spares, service items and some exciting new Club regalia items on sale to Club members at discounted prices at Rally HQ.There'll also be back copies of Dolly Mixture magazines going back until 2001 available free of charge to members.

There'll be prizes for the Best Sprint,1850,OHV Dolomite/Toledo and FWD cars as well as awards for members travelling the longest distance to the event. There'll also be a prize for the Best TDC Area Group display. Don't think that our rally is just about showroom condition,highly-polished cars - ALL Dollies are welcome,no matter what their condition!
Your Dolomite isn't on the road? You haven't got a Dolomite? Come along anyway - you don't have to turn up in a Dolly, everyone is welcome. There'll be cars for sale so if you're thinking of buying a Dolly you might be tempted by something you see.Trying to sell your Dolly? Bring it along - what better way of letting hundreds of potential buyers see your car?

On Saturday 20th September there'll be a convoy run setting off from The Moseley Park Beefeater at junction 2,M54 and an informal get together at the Moseley Park (next to the Travel Inn,Wolverhampton - see below for address) in the evening. For safety reasons, members (and guests) wishing to take part in the convoy run (a drive of approximately 25 miles around the scenic Cannock Chase area) MUST book their place in advance.Call the club on 08700 111737 to book or for more info.

Why not make a weekend of it? There are plenty of other attractions nearby (like the Ironbridge Gorge Museums, for instance) so why not treat your family to a fun-filled,yet relaxing weekend! In addition to TDCIR there's also The RAF Museum Cosford, which is a superb venue, with plenty of attractions for ALL the family.
