Triumph Dolomite Sprint, V Reg., July 1980. I am selling this car because I have bought another one and do not have room for 2. I have owned it for about 12 years and it has attended most of the North West Section shows. White with a black roof, black interior. It was an automatic and was converted to a manual gearbox with overdrive to improve its drivability. Regularly maintained and garaged. Recent MOT until July 2010. Mileage 96000 approx. Good condition solid car. Has been fitted with the following new items:-

• stainless steel twin pipe exhaust
• high torque starter
• front screen and rubber.
• halogen headlights
• dual circuit brake master cylinder and Green Stuff pads and rear brake shoes
• clutch slave cylinder.

Dolomite 1300, been converted to a 1500 tc engine, which is a low mileage engine. The car has done 68000 miles from new, but the engine and gearbox have only done 38/40000 miles. She has 9 months mot and taxed til end of august. The colour is russet brown, with black sprint interior, sprint front spoiler, 1850 fl hub caps and outer chrome wheel trims, this is not an original car, but anyone that wants a genuine 1300 look, and it has been restored professionaly and all work done either by myself or the garage that i work in. It has had welding, and a full respray, as in, sills, passenger side rear arch, and welding to passenger side inner wing, all done properly. She drives very well and has been fully serviced, including front brakes and discs and pads, and new rear brakes, and is located in Great Yarmouth. Pictures can be sent as required. 1978 Triumph Dolomite Sprint Brooklands Green rare automatic 2 Ltr 16 valve, 91K. 16,500 miles since professional engine rebuild, extensive history, MOT until Sept 09, 6 months tax, reliable runner, good solid body with some minor bubbles, excellent interior, unleaded head, electronic ignition, sports coil, oil pressure gauge, goodridge brake hoses, many new parts including recent viscous fan, new radiator, bottom ball joints and new carb mounts. I have 5 (five) Toledos to dispose of. All but one belonged to my father who died in December 2007 aged 86 and are being disposed of as they are part of his Estate. The other my mother bought new. They are all believed to be really only suitable for spares. One is missing it’s front from the bulkhead forward (we have the bonnet and engine) and a broken rear window and one has had the engine removed (we have it). Otherwise they are appear to be complete except that one has no rear lights. There is a lot of trim type of stuff and some mechanical items (including a complete rear axle, structs, trailing arms and bushes) in several of the cars (ring and tell me what you want and I will have a look – I do not have a list) He was “always” going to rebuild one until he acquired a Dolomite TC (also for sale) and was going to swap engine gearbox and axle from one of the Toledos – hence the removed engine.

They are located just outside Royston in Hertfordshire. I will only sell them as complete cars (so no enquiries just for parts please). I do not have log books for all of them. If they are not sold by the end of June they will be scrapped (which would be a shame). Price £100 each (Practical Classics condition 3 figure), buyer to collect.

There is also a Dolomite TC (as above) and a Dolomite 1300. The TC runs and drives but will need work to get an MOT. The 1300 runs and moves freely but the clutch is stuck in the disengaged position. Both cars are complete. Price £200 each (Practical Classics condition 3 figure), buyers to collect.

There is also a Herald (twin headlights, 13/60?) with no log book. Will need a lot of work but is complete. Price £400 (Practical Classics condition 3 figure), buyer to collect.

Lastly there is a Mk 1 Fiesta 950 with an 1100 engine. This is in a poor state, especially bodywise but is totally complete, runs and could be rebuilt - £100.

For the avoidance of doubt my father owned a village garage but these were his own cars and these are private sales by his Executors. I run Mk1 Cortinas and a Mini Clubman so am sympathetic to the problems of keeping these cars on the road.

We do not have log books for all the cars.

1980 Triumph Dolomite 1500 HL Saloon For Sale. Colour Pag Blue, Mileage 81,950.Vehicle owned from new. Much loved vehicle but my father (aged 85) has been unable to drive since August 2006 and the vehicle has been garaged and off the road since then. In January 2006 £2300 was spent on restoring the vehicle by a classic restoration business which included completely stripping the bodywork carrying out all necessary repairs, full re-spray, full set of seat covers. The vehicle has done only 300 miles since those repairs. The original car purchase invoice and the restoration invoice are both available.. The vehicle is garaged in the Wigan/Bolton area.
